Roysten is a recurring character in the Banjo-Kazooie series.
Biography[edit]
Roysten is Banjo's pet goldfish, serving little purpose aside from being caught in dangerous situations.
Banjo-Kazooie[edit]
In Banjo-Kazooie, his first appearance, Roysten can be seen in Banjo's House, swimming in his fishbowl. Near the ending, there is a cutscene that shows Mumbo Jumbo cooking Roysten on a barbecue.
Banjo-Tooie[edit]
In Banjo-Tooie, Roysten can be seen in Banjo's House, swimming in his fishbowl at the start of the game. After Gruntilda blows up the house, he ends up trapped under a boulder. When Banjo and Kazooie approach it, Roysten explains to them that he was knocked off the barbecue and trapped under a large rock, which he begs them to destroy so that he can be freed.
