Flight is a recurring move in the Banjo-Kazooie series.
Overview[edit]
Flight is a move that allows Kazooie to fly with Banjo and access otherwise unreachable areas using a Flight Pad and Red Feathers.
Banjo-Kazooie[edit]
In Banjo-Kazooie, the move's first appearance, Bottles teaches Banjo and Kazooie how to fly atop The Salty Hippo in Treasure Trove Cove. It is performed by pressing while on a Flight Pad, then using the to steer or to make sharper turns. While flying, can be pressed to go higher in exchange of a Red Feather. Most collectibles can be obtained without using Flight, such as 90 Jiggies, although this means Banjo and Kazooie cannot progress farther than Grunty's Furnace Fun. There are a few Flight Pads that are usable even without learning Flight, but Banjo and Kazooie are still required to have some Red Feathers.
Banjo-Tooie[edit]
In Banjo-Tooie, Flight is usable from the start, like nearly every other Banjo-Kazooie move, and it retains its general purpose. When Split-Up from Banjo, Kazooie is able to fly by herself.
Jamjars also teaches the duo how to shoot eggs while flying with and in Witchyworld.
