The major overhaul 2025[edit]
Hey it's me, Toomai. You may recall I was part of the group that set up Jiggywikki as independent in the first place, but then kinda vanished. Long story short, I lost interest in here for a while. But now said interest is currently back, and I'm here to pick things up.
It's come to my attention there's some stuff we have to get in order. Most importantly, we have a culture problem - specifically, we don't have a culture. Most of our policies are copied straight from the old wikia and from Super Mario Wiki, whether they actually apply to us or not. I've been cleaning up our maintenance templates a bit, but there's still a lot of similar cruft from other wikis for both them and the categories they use.
So, I have a proposal: we blow it all up. Let's go over every little thing and decide whether we actually want to keep it, we want to establish our own version, or we want to just drop it entirely. If we agree to do this, I'll set up project pages or whatever to keep things organised, and I'll try to keep things moving on a tight timeframe because there's probably a lot to go through. This first step for discussing "do we agree with this suggestion" can be a bit longer.
This isn't a straight vote, it's a discussion to measure out what the community here thinks about the idea. So what is it? Toomai Glittershine 22:14, March 20, 2025 (UTC)
