Nabnut is a character in Banjo-Kazooie.

Biography[edit]

Banjo-Kazooie[edit]

In Banjo-Kazooie, Nabnut is a gluttonous, red squirrel who lives in his own home in the Click Clock Wood Tree of Click Clock Wood. Like other characters in the world, Nabnut's role is different for each season. Regardless of the season, Banjo and Kazooie can always find Nabnut inside of his home.

In Spring, Nabnut is seen eating a pile of acorns inside his home. In Summer, Nabnut has become entirely bloated from eating too many acorns during the Spring, and can hardly move. In Fall, Nabnut can be found outside of his home, realizing his mistake of eating his entire supply of acorns during Spring and asks Banjo and Kazooie to find six more acorns scattered throughout Click Clock Wood. After doing so, the duo receive a Jiggy as a reward from Nabnut and he’ll scurry inside his home, shutting the door. In Winter, Nabnut can be found inside his home, sleeping in bed with his wife, Mrs. Nabnut.
