Not to be confused with Moggi.

Moggy is one of the three children of Boggy and Mrs. Boggy. He has two siblings, Groggy and Soggy.

History

Banjo-Kazooie

Original appearance in Banjo-Kazooie

In Banjo-Kazooie, Moggy and his siblings are found in Freezeezy Peak, inside of Boggy's Igloo. When Banjo and Kazooie first enter the igloo, they are greeted by Moggy, Groggy, and Soggy, who are upset that their father, Boggy, did not get them Christmas presents. When Banjo and Kazooie give a present to each of the kids, they reward them with a Jiggy. Ever since the kids receive their presents, they can be seen joyfully bouncing around the igloo while Boggy sleeps in his chair.

Banjo-Tooie

In Banjo-Tooie, Moggy, Soggy, and Groggy are at Witchyworld with their mother, but they refuse to leave the theme park. Moggy, like his siblings, are found at random theme park attractions. Banjo and Kazooie can get Moggy to leave by hitting him, causing Moggy to cry and run back to his mother to tell on Banjo and Kazooie,

Later, in Hailfire Peaks, Moggy is seen bouncing on his parents' bed in Hailfire Peaks, much to the delight of his sister, Soggy. Moggy says that bouncing on the bed is more fun than the Witchyworld rides. He then says to Banjo and Kazooie that Boggy will bash them once he is done watching his movie.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts

Artwork from Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, which includes head icons for all of Boggy's kids.

Moggy, Soggy, and Groggy were scheduled to appear in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, but were cut from the game due to time constraints. Although they were cut, their head icons appeared in promotional artwork for the game. The Jiggy Challenge featuring the cubs was titled "Don't Bring Your Kids to Work Day" about them.[1]

Years later, Moggy and Soggy were discovered to be in the "Home Improvements: Igloo Edition" challenge of Banjoland. Moggy appears on top of an empty display case, which is far out of bounds from where the challenge takes place.[2]

General information

Physical appearance

In Banjo-Kazooie, Moggy can be distinguished from the blue pajama pants that he wears. In Banjo-Tooie, Moggy wears blue jeans, white sneakers, and a matching red shirt and backward cap, both of which show small, yellow, sparkling stars. Moggy's shirt also depicts a planet in the shape of Saturn.
