The Forward Roll is a recurring move in the Banjo-Kazooie series.
Overview[edit]
Forward Roll is a move that allows Banjo and Kazooie to roll forward and attack enemies, being a basic but still useful ability. In Banjo-Kazooie, Bottles teaches Banjo and Kazooie how to use the Forward Roll in Spiral Mountain, being performed by pressing while moving. In Banjo-Tooie, the Forward Roll is a pre-learned move, being performed the same way as it did in the previous game, but when Split-Up from Kazooie, Banjo cannot use the move because her wings are necessary for it to work.
