Overview[edit]
Forward Roll is a move that allows Banjo and Kazooie to roll forward and attack enemies, being a basic but still useful ability. In Banjo-Kazooie, Bottles teaches Banjo and Kazooie how to use the Forward Roll in Spiral Mountain, being performed by pressing while moving. In Banjo-Tooie, the Forward Roll is a pre-learned move, being performed the same way as it did in the previous game, but when Split-Up from Kazooie, Banjo cannot use the move because her wings are necessary for it to work. In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Bozzeye teaches Banjo and Kazooie how to use the Forward Roll in Cliff Farm for 60 Musical Notes. It is performed by pressing while moving. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Forward Roll appears as Banjo's dash attack, and as such is performed from a Talon Trot.
