Switches are objects found throughout the Banjo-Kazooie series. They can usually be pressed by Banjo and Kazooie to trigger certain events.

History

Banjo-Kazooie

In Banjo-Kazooie, switches appear in most worlds. They can be pressed by using the Beak Buster move, and cause various things to happen. A notable type of switch featured in the game is the Witch Switch, which appears in every world and causes a Jiggy to appear in Gruntilda's Lair.

Banjo-Tooie

In Banjo-Tooie, switches return and also appear throughout the worlds. They now can be pressed by simply standing on them, rather than having to use a specific move.

Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, switches reappear and, much like previously, can be found in the majority of the game's worlds. To press them, Banjo needs to use the Pack Whack or Bill Drill moves.
