In the first two games, ''[[Banjo-Kazooie]]'' and ''[[Banjo-Tooie]]'', the duo can use the move if the player presses {{button|N64|B}} while they are in midair. The move also appears in ''[[Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge]]'', where the player can also use the move by pressing {{button|GBA|B}}.
The '''Rat-a-tat Rap''' is a move that allows [[Kazooie]] to come out of [[Banjo]]'s backpack and peck whatever is in front of the duo with her beak.


When the duo use the move, Banjo lowers his head, allowing for Kazooie to peck enemies. Because it can be executed quickly and deals high damage, this attack is ideal for defeating most enemies, provided that they are tall enough for it to reach.

In Banjo-Kazooie, Bottles teaches Banjo and Kazooie about the Rat-a-tat Rap in Spiral Mountain. It is perfomed by pressing B Button while midair or Talon Trotting.

In Banjo-Tooie, Banjo and Kazooie start the game already knowing how to use the Rat-a-tat Rap and can be reminded about how to by Bottles' spirit in Spiral Mountain.

Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Bozzeye teaches Banjo and Kazooie how to use the Rat-a-tat Rap in Bad Magic Bayou for 210 Musical Notes. It is performed by pressing B Button while midair.
