The Shock Spring Jump is an ability that Bottles teaches at Treasure Trove Cove in Banjo-Kazooie. The Shock Spring Jump allows Banjo and Kazooie to utilize Shock Jump Pads to perform a very high jump and reach some heights that Flap Flip is incapable of reaching.
While Banjo is standing a Shock Jump Pad, the player can press to have the duo perform a Shock Spring Jump. The move involves Kazooie taking out her legs and performing a large spring from them. The player can control the direction in which Shock Spring Jump is used with the .
In Banjo-Tooie, the Shock Spring Jump was carried over from the previous title, so Banjo and Kazooie do not have to re-learn it. Banjo cannot perform this move by himself while him and Kazooie are split up.
In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Bozzeye teaches the Shock Spring Jump at Spiller's Harbor in exchange for 370 Musical Notes. The move has the same functionality as in the Nintendo 64 games.
