The Forward Roll is a move that allows Banjo and Kazooie to roll forward and attack enemies, being a basic but still useful ability.

History

Banjo-Kazooie

In Banjo-Kazooie, Bottles teaches Banjo and Kazooie how to use the Forward Roll in Spiral Mountain, being performed by pressing B Button while moving.

Banjo-Tooie

In Banjo-Tooie, the Forward Roll returns as a pre-learned move, being performed the same way as it did in the previous game. When Split-Up from Kazooie, Banjo cannot use the move as her wings are necessary for it to work.

Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Bozzeye teaches Banjo and Kazooie how to use the Forward Roll in Cliff Farm for 60 Musical Notes. It is performed by pressing B Button while moving.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Forward Roll appears as Banjo's dash attack, and as such is performed from a Talon Trot.
