Egg Firing

Egg Firing is a recurring move in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

OverviewEdit

Egg Firing is a move that allows Kazooie to fire eggs from the front or back.

Banjo-KazooieEdit

In Banjo-Kazooie, the move's first appearance, Bottles teaches Kazooie how to fire eggs in Mumbo's Mountain. The move is performed by pressing  , then firing eggs from the front with   or from behind with  . If this is done from behind, a farting noise is heard.

Grunty's RevengeEdit

The move returns in Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, functioning identically as before.

Banjo-TooieEdit

In Banjo-Tooie, Egg Firing is one of the moves carried over from the previous game, so Kazooie can use it from the start. In Spiral Mountain, Banjo and Kazooie can talk to Bottles' spirit for a reminder on how to perform it. The standard Egg Firing is performed the same way as in Banjo-Kazooie, besides there being different types of eggs to fire. Jamjars teaches the duo two variants of the Egg Firing move: Airborne Egg Aiming and Sub-Aqua Egg Aiming. Jamjars also teaches Breegull Blaster, in which Banjo holds Kazooie, who can fire eggs in front while in first-person view.

Super Smash Bros. UltimateEdit

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Egg Firing appears as the duo's neutral special attack. The eggs bounce along the ground. If the button is held down, they will instead perform Breegull Blaster. The Rear variant appears as their down special, and instead has Kazooie tossing a Grenade Egg from Banjo's backpack. Like the normal eggs, they bounce along the ground, but slower and at an inconsistent trajectory, and can be caught by any player and thrown. After a few seconds or immediately if thrown, they will explode.
