'''Toots''' is a recurring character in the ''[[Banjo-Kazooie (series)|Banjo-Kazooie]]'' series.


Toots is a pink anteater-like creature. In [[Banjo-Kazooie]], Toots is [[Rubee|Rubee the Snake Charmer]]'s pet that sits by him. In [[Banjo-Tooie]], Toots belongs to [[King Jingaling]]. Toots sits with Jingaling on his throne during the begining of the game. When [[King Jingaling|Jingaling]]'s life is sucked away by [[B.O.B.]], Toots hides under the cusion of the throne and all the player is able to see of Toots is his eyes. When the player restores [[King Jingaling|Jingaling]]'s life force, Toots again appears on [[King Jingaling|Jingaling]]'s throne as he does in the begining of the game. There are many arguments of whether or not [[Rubee]]'s Toots is the same as [[King Jingaling|Jingaling]]'s Toots because of the size difference. They may just be the same type of creature.

In Banjo-Kazooie, his first appearance, Toots sits beside Rubee in Gobi's Valley. When the snake charmer plays his pipe to make Histup come out of its basket, Toots appears to sing along with its trunk.

Banjo-Tooie[edit]

In Banjo-Tooie, Toots sits beside King Jingaling in his throne room. After B.O.B. sucks away King Jingaling's life, turning him into a zombie, Toots is reduced to a pile of ash with blinking eyes (but is seen hiding in the couch from King Jingaling in some scenes). Once Banjo and Kazooie restore King Jingaling, Toots goes back to sitting on his lap.
