Toots are a species of small, pink anteater-like creatures. Two of them appear in the series, one in Banjo-Kazooie and another in Banjo-Tooie. In the respective games, each Toots is kept as a pet by Rubee and King Jingaling.
In Banjo-Kazooie, Toots sits beside Rubee in Gobi's Valley, and appears to sing while Rubee plays his pipe.
In Banjo-Tooie, Toots sits beside King Jingaling in his throne room. After B.O.B. sucks away King Jingaling's life, turning him into a zombie, Toots is either reduced to a pile of ash with blinking eyes, or is hiding in the couch from King Jingaling. Once Banjo and Kazooie restore King Jingaling, Toots goes back to sitting on his lap.
