Groggy
Groggy is a recurring character in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Physical traitsEdit
In Banjo-Kazooie, as a cub, Groggy wears a night hat and pants, both of which have a pink and yellow pattern. Groggy has light blue eyes. In Banjo-Tooie, aside from being overweight, Groggy wears orange pants, a yellow cap, a green open shirt, and a tie which has a green and blue-checkered pattern.
BiographyEdit
Groggy is a polar bear and one of Boggy and Mrs. Boggy's three children. His two siblings are Soggy and Moggy.
Banjo-KazooieEdit
In Banjo-Kazooie, his first appearance, Groggy and his siblings live in an igloo in Freezeezy Peak with their father, Boggy. Banjo and Kazooie can obtain a Jiggy if they find three presents and give one to each of the three kids.
Banjo-TooieEdit
Groggy returns in Banjo-Tooie. He has gained significant weight, which is implied to be because he eats a lot, to the point where he can barely walk.
Groggy and his siblings are each found in a random Witchyworld attraction, and Mrs. Boggy requests Banjo and Kazooie to go find them. When Banjo and Kazooie find Groggy, he asks to be fed a burger. If the duo refuse to feed Groggy, he insults them and says he will not return to his mother unless he has been fed. When Banjo and Kazooie feed a burger to Groggy, he becomes too overweight to move around, so Banjo has to use Taxi Pack to carry him back. Once Groggy is taken back to Mrs. Boggy, she gets angry at him for eating before dinner, and whacks him with her purse as punishment.
Later, Groggy can be found in his family's igloo on the Ice Side of Hailfire Peaks. Groggy is seen in the bedroom, rocking back and forth while scratching his stomach and belching or farting. When Banjo approaches Groggy, he thanks him for the burger; he also says that he needs to use the bathroom, but is still too overweight to move around.
Nuts & BoltsEdit
Groggy, Moggy, and Soggy were going to appear in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, but were scrapped likely due to time restraints. Although they were cut, their head icons appeared in a promotional artwork for the game. The name of their canceled Jiggy challenge was "Don't Bring Your Kids to Work Day."[1]
