Honey B, Banjo-Tooie

Honey B is a recurring character in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Biography[edit]

Honey B is a honeybee who lives in a giant beehive and claims to be the "Mistress of the Honey," although she later admits to be simply the "Apprentice of the Honey," being able to exchange Hollow Honeycombs for extra energy units.

Grunty's Revenge[edit]

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Honey B can be found inside her beehive in the Spiral Rise of Spiral Mountain. She has the same role she had in Banjo-Tooie, increasing the duo's health bar when they bring enough Empty Honeycombs.

She is also seen in the 100% ending inside Mumbo's Pad, where Mumbo Jumbo says she'll finally teach him the bee dance, and that she might even see his "special transformation." After that, the two start dancing and a disco ball appears from the roof.

Banjo-Tooie[edit]

In Banjo-Tooie, her actual first appearance, Honey B can be found inside her beehive in the Plateau of the Isle O' Hags. When first encountered, Honey B introduces herself as the "Mistress of the Honey," causing Kazooie to ask why couldn't she "be Mistress of the Jiggies instead." She then explains how she can help the duo by increasing their health bar in exchange of Empty Honeycombs.

After every Empty Honeycomb has been traded with her, Honey B admits to be only the Apprentice of the Honey, rather than the Mistress.

Trivia[edit]

  • In Banjo-Tooie, Honey B uses the same voice as Brentilda in Banjo-Kazooie.
  • The model of Honey B used to make a Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge artwork was reused as a placeholder for characters in My Garden, a prototype of Viva Piñata.[1]
