“Behold the power of the Mighty Jiggywiggy!”
Master Jiggywiggy, Banjo-Tooie

Master Jiggywiggy is a recurring character in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Biography[edit]

Master Jiggywiggy is the keeper and protector of the Jiggies and the Crystal Jiggy. He appears in Jiggywiggy's Temple. He wears a bright yellow tunic and a bright blue cloak with Jiggy images on it held up by a honeycomb-shaped brooch, and his head resembles a Jiggy. Master Jiggywiggy has a disciple named the Disciple of Jiggywiggy.

Grunty's Revenge[edit]

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Master Jiggywiggy reveals that Gruntilda has cursed the Jiggy priests. This curse prevents him from touching the Jiggies, so he relies on Banjo and Kazooie to collect the Jiggies instead. Other characters resembling Master Jiggywiggy are located in Jiggywiggy's Temple, but they all wear plain brown robes. When Banjo and Kazooie have a certain number of Jiggies, Master Jiggywiggy allows them to activate the Crystal Jiggy to open the next world.

Banjo-Tooie[edit]

In Banjo-Tooie, whenever Banjo and Kazooie have enough Jiggies to unlock the next world, the Disciple of Jiggywiggy allows them to enter Jiggywiggy's Temple. In there, Master Jiggywiggy tasks Banjo and Kazooie with a jigsaw puzzle challenge, which they must complete within a time limit. If the duo are successful, Master Jiggywiggy uses the Crystal Jiggy's power to unlock the doorway to the next world.

If Banjo and Kazooie use cheat codes to open a door to another word, then Jiggywiggy proclaims that another force has opened the door.

If one Jiggywiggy's Challenges is constantly failed, he claims they are perhaps not the chosen ones, and offers to remove the challenge's timer.

Banjo-Pilot[edit]

In Banjo-Pilot, Master Jiggywiggy makes a cameo appearance as one of the character in the winner's circle.

Nuts & Bolts[edit]

Although Jiggywiggy himself does not appear in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Jolly Dodger does sell a Jiggy named "Mr. Jiggywiggy," which he claims to be "follically challenged, a Jiggy with a wiggy" that is a "high-tech hairpiece so you can't see it."
