The Breegull Blaster is a move used throughout the Banjo-Kazooie series. It allows Banjo to use Kazooie as a hend-held gun to fire eggs and attack enemies.

This move is automatically executed when the pair enters certain special areas, and cannot be used outside these areas. It allows Banjo and Kazooie to move around and fire eggs quickly without having to stop, but an obvious downside is that no other moves can be performed while the Breegull Blaster is being used (other than the Beak Bayonet, a melee jabbing technique), although areas which use the Breegull Blaster are designed around its use and as such the use of other abilities isn't necessary.

*A glitch to rapidly fire Grenade Eggs while in Breegull Blaster mode can be easily accessed. The player must have a rapid shooting egg like Blue Eggs or Ice Eggs (Golden Eggs are ineffective). Start shooting them rapidly, and then immediately press N64 to switch to Grenade Eggs, and keep tapping N64. Because the game had been firing rapid Blue Eggs, now you can rapidly fire Grenade Eggs, compared to usually only firing 1 every few seconds (note, they must be continuously be fired, or else they will revert back to being slow). This is an incredibly useful move, especially in multiplayer shootouts, as you can light up a room with explosions rapidly and tear through areas. The only downside is that it doesn't take long to run out of bombs.
*Despite the Grenade Eggs normally not being able to be fired rapidly in Banjo-Tooie, unlike other egg types, a glitch can be easily triggered to cause this to happen. While rapidly shooting Blue Eggs or Ice Eggs, the N64 button needs to be immediately pressed to switch to Grenade Eggs, with N64 being repeatedly tapped. This is specially useful in multiplayer modes.

“Here's a move that's a load of fun, now use Kazooie as a hand-held gun! Z Button fires eggs both high and low, Targitzan's Temple in you can go!”
Jamjars, Banjo-Tooie

The Breegull Blaster is a move used throughout the Banjo-Kazooie series. It allows Banjo to use Kazooie as a hend-held gun to fire eggs and attack enemies.

History

Banjo-Tooie

In Banjo-Tooie, Jamjars teaches the Breegull Blaster for 30 Musical Notes in Mayahem Temple. The move activates automatically when in certain areas, and is used by pressing Z Button to fire eggs, pressing and holding R Button to change the egg type and activate the aim down sight, respectively, pressing Camera up Button and Camera down Button to aim vertically and pressing Camera left Button and Camera right Button to strafe. This move is used in many challenges, namely the Targitzan's Temple Challenge, the Ordnance Storage Shootout, inside Chompa's Belly, Clinker's Cavern, and certain segments of the Hag 1 battle.

The move is also used by Mumbo Jumbo, a Jinjo, Jamjars and Gruntilda in three multiplayer mini-games.

Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Bozzeye teaches the Breegull Blaster. Unlike in the previous game, it can be used in any location and completely replaces the regular Egg Firing.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Breegull Blaster appears as the neutral special attack when the button is held down. Pressing the button again will fire eggs, and holding it down will cause a stream of eggs to be fired at a consecutively-decreasing amount of power. The move can be canceled by crouching or shielding.

Trivia

 • Despite the Grenade Eggs normally not being able to be fired rapidly in Banjo-Tooie, unlike other egg types, a glitch can be easily triggered to cause this to happen. While rapidly shooting Blue Eggs or Ice Eggs, the R Button button needs to be immediately pressed to switch to Grenade Eggs, with Z Button being repeatedly tapped. This is specially useful in multiplayer modes.
