In Grunty's Revenge, Livewires appear as snake-like wires coming off of walls or objects which will lash back and forth violently, threatening to shock Banjo if he comes too close. They can be defeated using the [[Wonderwing]].

Livewires are a recurring enemy in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Characteristics[edit]

Livewires are enemies composed of electric wires. In Banjo-Tooie, they appear throughout Witchyworld, functioning a lot more like obstacles than enemies, periodically discharging electricity to damage Banjo and Kazooie. They can also be climbed and Grip Grabbed across. In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Livewires are found throughout the Grunty Industries of Freezing Furnace. They shake around off walls and damage the duo if they get close, being only defeated with the Wonderwing.
