Livewires are enemies found in Banjo-Tooie and Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge. In Banjo-Tooie, Livewires are more of an obstacle as insulated electrical wires with large holes torn in their sides which will periodically discharge arcs of electricity. Banjo can climb these wires or Grip Grab across them, but if proper timing is not used, he may be shocked and knocked off.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Livewires appear as snake-like wires coming off of walls or objects which will lash back and forth violently, threatening to shock Banjo if he comes too close. They can be defeated using the Wonderwing.
