Banjo doing Jiggywiggy's Challenge 1, which is needed to unlock Mayahem Temple

Jiggywiggy's Challenges are a series of challenges from Master Jiggywiggy in Banjo-Tooie. All of them are basic jigsaw puzzle challenges that are done from the golden monolith in Jiggywiggy's Temple. Each challenge requires a different minimum number of Jiggies in order for Banjo and Kazooie to do the challenge. Once the duo complete Jiggywiggy's Challenge, the Crystal Jiggy reacts and unlocks access to a world. Every world has one associated Jiggywiggy's Challenge except Cauldron Keep, which has two.

There are ten main challenges, although a bonus eleventh challenge, the Jiggywiggy's Super Special Challenge, is unlocked once Banjo and Kazooie complete every previous challenge. It is an optional challenge and yields no reward.

Gameplay

Jiggywiggy's Challenges have a similar purpose to the Jigsaw Pictures in Banjo-Kazooie, except Jiggywiggy's Challenges require Banjo to manually place every missing piece into the puzzle within a 100 second time limit. Every jigsaw piece shows a motion preview of the world being unlocked. The Jiggywiggy's Challenges for later worlds have a higher difficulty level. The gameplay is similar to Banjo-Kazooie's Bottles' Moving Picture Game.

If Banjo and Kazooie keep failing a Jiggywiggy's Challenge, Master Jiggywiggy offers them to retry it without the timer.

Jiggywiggy's Super Special Challenge involves Banjo having to do an entire puzzle from the start. The challenge is optional and records Banjo's best time when completed, which means that Banjo can retry the challenge to attempt at getting a better time. The moving picture depicts Jiggywiggy's Temple. Some of the pieces can be rotated with Camera left Button and Camera right Button, which is sometimes required to properly orient the jigsaw piece. When Banjo completes the challenge, Master Jiggywiggy says Banjo's time.
