“This is my palace. Not bad, eh? Just come on in and see the Jingster!”
King Jingaling, Banjo-Tooie

King Jingaling's Throne Room, temporarily known as Zombified Throne Room, is a recurring location in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Features and overview[edit]

King Jingaling's Throne Room is the palace of King Jingaling appearing in the center of Jinjo Village. It is a large building and the home of King Jingaling and his pet, Toots.

Banjo-Tooie[edit]

In Banjo-Tooie, when King Jingaling's Throne Room is first entered by Banjo and Kazooie, the king tells them about how Gruntilda, Mingella and Blobbelda drilled through the village with the Hag 1, scaring away the Jinjos and killing the Grey Jinjo family. He then gives them the first Jiggy of the game and advises them to visit Master Jiggywiggy in his temple through an underground tunnel, as he could certainly help them acquire more Jiggies in order to defeat the witch.

Immediately after the duo leaves the location, Gruntilda and her sisters use the Big-O-Blaster to suck the life force of King Jingaling and the building, transforming it into a grey, lifeless place with the zombified king residing inside. However, after the bear and bird manage to beat the Tower of Tragedy Quiz, they restore the palace alongside King Jingaling.

In Banjo-Pilot, King Jingaling's Throne Room appears as the background during the sections of Jinjo GP where he talks to the racer.

Trivia[edit]

  • The song that plays inside the Zombified Throne Room is one of the few songs that can be permanently missed, being absent from the jukebox if the room is not visited while in that state.
