Banjo and Kazooie must avoid using the Grenade Eggs in close range, else the resulting explosion damages and sends them flying backward. Kazooie can only fire one Grenade Egg at a time, unlike Blue Eggs where three can be fired in succession. The duo can carry up to 25 Grenade Eggs, although the "EGGS" cheat doubles the maximum to 50.
