Jinjo Village is a location in Banjo-Tooie.

Features and overview[edit]

Jinjo Village is an area in the Isle O' Hags, being the home of the Jinjos and ruled by King Jingaling.

Banjo-Tooie[edit]

In Banjo-Tooie, Jinjo Village is the first accessible area of Isle o' Hags. It features an entrance to Bottles' House, the first silo, a cave with a Banjo-Kazooie Game Pak, King Jingaling's Throne Room, and a link back to Spiral Mountain from the Digger Tunnel.

There are ten houses in Jinjo Village, each inhabited by a Jinjo of a certain color. Shortly before the game's events, the gray house was destroyed by the Hag 1, killing all of the gray Jinjos inside. The other nine houses were mostly unaffected, although the red one had its edge damaged. Due to the commotion, every Jinjo except their ruler, King Jingaling, fled the area. A total of 45 regular Jinjos live in Jinjo Village plus their leader, making there a total population of 46.

If Banjo and Kazooie enter a Jinjo house which is missing some Jinjos, a slow, sad variation of the Jinjo Village's theme plays, whereas houses with a complete Jinjo family have a happier, more upbeat tune. Banjo and Kazooie can collect a Treble Clef on the roof of the red house. Behind the gray house is a sign that says: "In loving memory of the grey Jinjo family. Passed away unexpectedly when a huge digging machine flattened their house."

Nuts & Bolts[edit]

In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Jinjo Village is mentioned in the Jiggosseum's scoreboard where, in the "Football" category, it is stated that they scored 2 points and won against Dingpot Town, who only scored 1 point.
