“Cluck! Heggy the Hen! Cluck! Find special egg.”
Heggy, Banjo-Tooie

Heggy is a character in Banjo-Tooie.

Characteristics[edit]

Heggy is a large, blue hen who lives in her Egg Shed.

Biography[edit]

In Banjo-Tooie, Heggy can be found in her Egg Shed in Wooded Hollow. She can hatch Mystery Eggs brought to her by Banjo and Kazooie in order to unlock various things such as the "HOMING" cheat code for the code chamber in the Mayahem Temple, the Breegull Bash move and Jinjo as a playable character in multiplayer. The yellow Mystery Egg specifically is out of Heggy's reach, leaving Kazooie to have to hatch it herself using the move Hatch, learned in Terrydactyland.

In the Xbox Live Arcade version of Banjo-Tooie, after hatching the final egg, Heggy will mention a "very special Heggy egg award" that "might be useful... one day." After she says that, Kazooie mentions that "at least that means [they'll] get to see [their] 20th birthdays," but Banjo replies by saying that "surely Rare will make the next game faster than that."
