“That looks like a Banjo-Kazooie Game Pak! I wonder what's inside?”
Jamjars, Banjo-Tooie

Banjo-Kazooie Game Paks are enemies in Banjo-Tooie.

Characteristics[edit]

Banjo-Kazooie Game Paks are hidden enemies that, when defeated, drop specific Stop 'n' Swop items from Banjo-Kazooie.

The first Banjo-Kazooie Game Pak is found inside a cave behind a waterfall in Spiral Mountain that can be accessed by flying with a Flight Pad. Once the metal grating is reached, the Grip Grab move is necessary to reach the Game Pak, which contains either the Blue Mystery Egg, if the original version of the game is being played, or the Silver Mystery Egg if the Xbox Live Arcade release is being played.

The second Banjo-Kazooie Game Pak is found by flying to a cave above the tree stumps, also in Spiral Mountain. As a metal grating is blocking the passage, a Grenade Egg is needed to destroy it, allowing the duo to reach the second Game Pak which contains either the Pink Mystery Egg, if the original version of the game is being played, or the Bronze Mystery Egg if the Xbox Live Arcade release is being played.

The third Banjo-Kazooie Game Pak is found in Jinjo Village, near the sandy area behind the Green Jinjo Family House. It is accessed by climbing a wall with the Grip Grab move, which leads to a cave where the Game Pak is found, which contains either the Ice Key, if the original version of the game is being played, or the Gold Mystery Egg if the Xbox Live Arcade release is being played.

Trivia[edit]

  • The Banjo-Kazooie Game Paks are the only enemies in Banjo-Tooie that don't drop Honeycombs when defeated.
