'''Snap Dragons''' are vile creatures which make their nests around [[Grip Grab]] ledges. They hide in their holes until [[Banjo]] gets close, snapping at him and attempting to knock him off. Snapdragons can easily be killed while on the ledge by pressing {{B}} to peck them with [[Kazooie]], or by firing [[Grenade Eggs]] at their nests from the ground, but the attack pattern of Snapdragons is predictable and can easily be avoided is Banjo is alone an unable to attack.

Snapdragon appear in many of the worlds, usually inside of holes near ledges that need to be crossed using the Grip Grab move. Although they can be defeated with the Peck, Snapdragons simply return to their holes and come back out later.

Trivia[edit]

  • In Jolly Roger's Lagoon, atop Jolly's, a specific Snapdragon not colored blue is found. This is the only instance in the game of a Snapdragon being a different color to blend in with the background.
