Whirlweeds are located within Atlantis' Seaweed Sanctum. They disguise themselves as a lump of seaweed and try to attack Banjo and Kazooie if they approach them. Whirlweeds are usually disguised near regular seaweed, making them hard to differentiate. Whirlwinds attack by spinning around in circles while attempting to hit Banjo. They can be easily defeated from most attacks, including Egg Firing, which can also be used from a distance to differentiate Whirlweeds from normal seaweed.
