Trotty is a pig child found at Jolly Roger's Lagoon in Banjo-Tooie, and he has a friend named Piggles. While playing in a pool, Trotty grew a third arm on his left side, as a side-effect from the toxic waste from Grunty Industries.
In the game, Trotty claims that he grew a third arm because Piggles pushed him into the pool. He says he's quite sensitive about it, to which Kazooie calls him "Freako". He says that he can also feel a "third leg" growing. If Banjo and Kazooie heat up the pool that Trotty is in, he thanks them but also says that he does not want more arms. Banjo and Kazooie tell him, "Why not? Three more and you could be Template:W!"
