Swellbellies are an enemy in Banjo-Tooie.
Characteristics[edit]
Swellbellies are large, pufferfish-like enemies appearing throughout Jolly Roger's Lagoon's Atlantis. When Banjo and Kazooie get near them, Swellbellies inflate themselves and damaging the duo if they touch their spines. Swellbellies can be defeated by using moves such as the Talon Torpedo, Submarine Banjo's sonar pings or the Sub-Aqua Egg Aiming to fire Grenade Eggs.

- The Puftup enemies from Donkey Kong 64, another game developed by Rare Ltd., were recycled into the Swellbellies from Banjo-Tooie.
