Not to be confused with Moggy.
“Get him, you worthless Moggies!”
Targitzan, Banjo-Tooie

Moggies (singular: Moggie[1], or Moggi[2]) are an enemy in Banjo-Tooie.

Characteristics[edit]

Moggies are armored catlike warriors[3] that carry a club and shield. They appear in Mayahem Temple and inside one of its landmark areas, Targitzan's Temple. They also help Targitzan during the boss battle.

When Banjo and Kazooie approach a Moggie, it growls and then tries to whack them with its club. If the duo at hit by a Moggie, they lose health. Moggies can be defeated by either a Forward Roll, a Rat-a-tat Rap, or by having a few eggs fired at them. In Targitzan's Temple, they try and sneak up on Banjo and Kazooie.

There are two large Moggies, Officer Unogopaz, who guards entry to the Mayan Kickball Tournament, and Chief Bloatazin, who guarded Targitzan's "Sacred Priceless Relic Thingy" before losing it.
