The Digger Tunnels are large caves opened up by the Hag 1 digging drill while on its way to the Cauldron Keep in Banjo-Tooie. Klungo engages Banjo and Kazooie inside the each of tunnels for the first two of the three battles with him. Once the battle has been won, the tunnels cannot be reentered.

Since the tread marks from Hag 1 lead straight through the caves rather than all around inside them, it can be inferred that the caves were not created by Hag 1 and were merely tapped into.

In Banjo-Tooie, Digger Tunnels are large tunnels dug by the Hag 1 on its path back to the Cauldron Keep. Klungo is first fought Inside the Digger Tunnel that connects Spiral Mountain and Jinjo Village. He is later found again Inside Another Digger Tunnel that connects the Pine Grove and the Wasteland, although the Talon Torpedo move is required to access it. Burgers and Fries obtained from Witchyworld however will be confiscated if this tunnel is used.

Once Klungo is beaten inside a Digger Tunnel, it cannot be re-entered, and attempting to do so will simply take Banjo and Kazooie to its other side.
