“B.O.B. this is. Big-O-Blaster built by Mingy and me. Life force from ground, plants and creatures it can suck.”

Location and usesEdit

Big-O-Blaster is a powerful mechanical blaster built by Mingella and Blobbelda. It is capable of sucking the life force of any living beings by blasting them with a laser beam, transforming its targets into lifeless zombies. This can also work in reverse, giving the life force stored in it back to someone.

Banjo-TooieEdit

The Big-O-Blaster first appears in Banjo-Tooie, where Mingella and Blobbelda intended to use the Big-O-Blaster to restore their sister Gruntilda's body, which became a skeleton after being buried under a boulder for two years. Gruntilda first stole King Jingaling's life force in an attempt to restore her body, but it alone wasn't enough. After that, she decides to blast the entire Isle O' Hags as that would certainly absorb enough energy to complete her objective. However, in order to do that, the device needed a long charge-up. In this period of time, Banjo and Kazooie manage to arrive the tower in Cauldron Keep where the weapon resided, defeating the witches and successfully restoring King Jingaling, his palace and Bottles, who was killed much earlier in the game.

Banjo-PilotEdit

In Banjo-Pilot, the Big-O-Blaster appears as part of the background of the Cauldron Keep course.

Nuts & BoltsEdit

In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, the Big-O-Blaster is mentioned by the Lord of Games during his quiz. In one of the questions, he asks "what was the name of Grunty's giant life-sucking gun in Banjo-Tooie," with the right answer being "B.O.B." and the wrong answers being "A.L.F.," "S.U.X.X.O.R.Z." and "E.R.S.A.."
