The Prison Compound is a location in Banjo-Tooie.
Features and overview
The Prison Compound is an area of Mayahem Temple. Inside, a miner rat called Dilberta can be found trapped in a jail cell, opened by solving a puzzle with a Stony's hint, where a tunnel to the Prospector's Hut at Glitter Gulch Mine can be found. This passage is initially blocked by a boulder which can be broken with the Bill Drill move.
The Prison Compound has two Jiggies: one is across a swamp inhabited by Dragundas that Banjo and Kazooie can get across by using the Grip Grab move to reach a pair of Wading Boots and the other is atop a pillar that can be collected by either firing some Grenade Eggs in the Columns Vault under the area or firing a Clockwork Kazooie Egg on the Jiggy. A Cheato Page can also be obtained inside the tunnel that leads to the pillars.
