Inkies are giant octopus enemies in Banjo-Tooie, found in Atlantis, beneath Jolly Roger's Lagoon. They are inside four different underwater tunnels, swinging their tentacles around the space to block and damage Banjo. While Inkies cannot be defeated, they can be temporarily frozen by either Ice Eggs or Submarine Banjo's sonar pings.
In the Xbox Live Arcade release of Banjo-Tooie, freezing all four Inkies unlocks the "Calamari Bonanza" achievement.
