These pads allow Mumbo Jumbo to cast spells (so long as you give him a Glowbo to get him out of his Skull) on various objects that will help Banjo and Kazooie get through the various worlds in the game. The pads are different colors (it depends on the spell) and have a picture of Mumbo's face on it. Most pads will disappear after they have been used, though some pads are required to be used more than once. The only two pads in the game that never disappear are the ones near the Golden Goliath in Mayahem Temple and Wumba's Wigwam in Terrydactland.

A Mumbo Pad in Mayahem Temple.
Not to be confused with Mumbo's Pad.
“This Mumbo Pad. Mumbo stand on it to perform great magic.”
Mumbo Jumbo, Banjo-Tooie

Mumbo Pads are an object in Banjo-Tooie.

Location and uses[edit]

Mumbo Pads are purple pads that allow Mumbo Jumbo to, when in the possession of a Glowbo, cast a spell, usually to help Banjo and Kazooie obtain Jiggies. Most Mumbo Pads disappear after a single use, but certain ones can be used more than once, such as the Mumbo Pad in Mayahem Temple that is linked to the Golden Goliath.

Trivia[edit]

 • "Eekum-bokum," which is one of Mumbo Jumbo's catchphrases, is shown on the rims of a Mumbo Pad.
 • The Mumbo head icon on the pad's display uses his original design from Banjo-Kazooie, as opposed to his redesign in Banjo-Tooie. This is most apparent in the eyes and shape of his head.
