Yum-Yums[1] are a recurring enemy in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Characteristics[edit]

Yum-Yums are large clam enemies tat dwell around shore-based locations, attempting to bite Banjo and Kazooie and eat their items.

Banjo-Kazooie[edit]

In Banjo-Kazooie, their first appearance, Yum-Yums can be found in Treasure Trove Cove, continuously clamping their jaws while moving. When hit, the duo not only loses a Honeycomb, but also a Red Feather and a Blue Egg if they have any.

Grunty's Revenge[edit]

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Yum-Yums can be found throughout Breegull Beach and Spiller's Harbor. They act much like they did in their previous appearance, but now also eating Golden Feathers in addition to other items.
