Whiplashes are artificial tentacle-like enemies that appear in Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge. Most Whiplashes are pink, but some are green, depending on the area

Banjo-Kazooie
In Banjo-Kazooie, Whiplashes are parasitic-like tentacles found inside of Clanker's body during Clanker's Cavern. They sway back and forth slowly until Banjo and Kazooie come nearby, which is when they start to thrash violently while attempting to hit the duo. If Banjo gets hit, he loses a honeycomb of his health. Whiplashes cannot be defeated and must be avoided along the way.
In Click Clock Wood, Whiplashes have a more common variant, Whipcracks, which have the appearance of a tree limb. Although they are a different species, Whipcracks have the same behavior as Whiplashes, and they appear in more areas. Unlike their counterpart, Whiplashes cannot be defeated by Wonderwing because they are always out of reach on land.
