Snorkel is a dolphin who trapped beneath the Rusty Bucket's anchor in Rusty Bucket Bay of Banjo-Kazooie.
To free Snorkel, Banjo and Kazooie must swim into the boat via the hole the anchor comes out, leading into The Anchor Room. Defeat 5 Grille Chompas in the hallway, defeat 2 Seaman Grublins, and then press the Anchor Switch to raise the anchor. The player would then swim back out of the boat and to where Snorkel was to obtain a Jiggy. Snorkel then happily swims away.
Two similar generic Dolphins appear in Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, though neither is specified as Snorkel.
Trivia
- Banjo and Kazooie quickly drown from swimming underwater for too long, yet Snorkel appears to tolerate the water more.
- When the anchor rises, it conspicuously clips all the way through Snorkel. This was not altered in the Xbox Live Arcade version of Banjo-Kazooie.
