Snippets are large, green crabs with a pink underbelly. They are enemies in Banjo-Kazooie, mostly found at Treasure Trove Cove, but also appear in Clanker's Cavern and Gruntilda's Lair.
Like most enemies, Snippets try to attack Banjo when he is nearby. They move by sidestepping toward Banjo, snapping their claws. If Banjo and Kazooie either perform a Forward Roll at one or shoot an egg at it, the Snippet flips onto its back. Snippet can be defeated from another hit, causing its body to break apart as a honeycomb is released.
