Rubee is a snake charmer who appears in Gobi's Valley of Banjo-Kazooie. He wears an yellowish turban with a green gem. Rubee is found sitting with his pet Toots inside a pyramid next to Jinxy.

In the room with Rubee, there is a Jiggy near the ceiling. Rubee asks Kazooie to drop five Blue Eggs into a small bowl circling around a basket in the center of the room. If done successfully, Rubee plays the Gobi's Valley theme on his pipe, causing Histup to pop out of the basket and extend up to the Jiggy. Banjo must climb Histup to reach the Jiggy.

Trivia

  • On January 20, 2022, Ed Bryan posted a screencap on Twitter showing a file of Rubee, titled CHARMER.PSD, that erroneously had a creation date of February 6, 2040 at 06:28, citing it as possibly being a result of the Y2K bug, but the "Modified" and "Last opened" dates are both listed as February 18, 1998 at 11:15, which Ed Bryan assumes to be accurate.[1]
