Histup is a character in Banjo-Kazooie.

Biography[edit]

Histup is Rubee's pet snake who lives in Gobi's Valley. After Kazooie drops five Blue Eggs into Histup's small basket, Rubee plays the Gobi's Valley theme. This causes Histup to come out from his wooden basket and extend his body up to the highest point of the pyramid where the duo can obtain a Jiggy. To reach the Jiggy, Banjo can either climb Histup's body or stand on the basket's lid. Histup is one of the few minor characters that does not talk.
