Gnawty is a beaver who lives inside a [[Gnawty's Lodge|house]] located within the [[Click Clock Wood Tree]]. He has various roles throughout the different seasons of [[Click Clock Wood]]. In Spring, he is inside the river in front of a rock that is blocking the entrance to his home. Due to the water, [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] cannot break the boulder. In Summer, the river is dry, allowing the duo to break the rock. However, the entrance to it is very steep, making actually accessing the place impossible. In Autumn, the two are able to finally enter his home, as they can use the water to swim up. Inside, the beaver will give them a [[Jiggy]] as a reward. In Winter, the bear and bird cam swim through the frozen water into his house which is now without a boulder blocking it. If the Jigsaw Piece was not collected in Autumn, it can be collected here. There is also an [[Extra Honeycomb]] only available in this season inside.

In the spring, he tells you that there is a rock in front of his house, preventing him from getting in; however, the water prevents [[Banjo]] from destroying the boulder (legitimately). In the summer, Banjo can break the rock blocking his house; however, due to the drought, there isn't enough water to swim up and it's far too steep to use [[Kazooie]]'s [[Talon Trot]]. When autumn comes around, Banjo can finally swim into his house and collect the [[Jiggy]]. In winter, Banjo can swim in the frozen pond to get into Gnawty's house to obtain an [[Extra Honeycomb]]. However, due to the temperature, there is obviously not many spaces to enter the water and whenever Banjo and Kazooie dive below the surface of the water and/or under the ice, it is also due to the temperature, hard to hold breath longer and costs Banjo and Kazooie more air instantly.

If Banjo ignores Gnawty in the summer, he can still be found trying to get into his home and is still trapped outside in the pond. In autumn, he will begin state that wishes he was inside his house (although the water will ''still'' prevent Banjo from destroying the boulder as well) since the water starting to get cold. Finally, in winter, Gnawty is trapped beneath the frozen pond and accuses Banjo for not helping him.

Gnawty's name is a portmanteau of the words "naughty" and "gnaw."


If Banjo forgets the Jiggy in autumn, but gets it in the winter, Gnawty will worriedly say that he really wants it if he was still outside.

Gnawty is a character in Banjo-Kazooie.

Biography[edit]

Gnawty is a beaver who lives inside a house located within the Click Clock Wood Tree. He has various roles throughout the different seasons of Click Clock Wood. In Spring, he is inside the river in front of a rock that is blocking the entrance to his home. Due to the water, Banjo and Kazooie cannot break the boulder. In Summer, the river is dry, allowing the duo to break the rock. However, the entrance to it is very steep, making actually accessing the place impossible.
