Although its bright colors make it relatively easy to spot, it can be hard to avoid if you are around a corner and one happens to be there. Interesting enough, this enemy is immune to the [[Beak Bomb]] ability.

Flotsams appear throughout [[Rusty Bucket Bay]] and its entrance in [[Gruntilda's Lair]]. They hang from walls, disguising themselves as regular [[wikipedia:Personal flotation device|flotation device]]s, and start bouncing in [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]]'s direction when they get near. While Flotsams can be sometimes tricky to spot, they can be easily defeated with attacks such as the [[Rat-a-tat Rap]], but are unaffected by [[Beak Bomb]].


The best way to deal with them is simply attacking them with a well-timed [[Rat-a-tat Rap]]. When defeated, the Floatsam will comically deflate before vanishing.

Flotsams are an enemy in Banjo-Kazooie.

Characteristics[edit]

Flotsams appear throughout Rusty Bucket Bay and its entrance in Gruntilda's Lair. They hang from walls, disguising themselves as regular flotation devices, and start bouncing in Banjo and Kazooie's direction when they get near. While Flotsams can be sometimes tricky to spot, they can be easily defeated with attacks such as the Rat-a-tat Rap, but are unaffected by Beak Bomb.
