Limbos are an enemy in Banjo-Kazooie.
Characteristics[edit]
Limbos are skeleton creatures appearing throughout Mad Monster Mansion. They behave similarly to Mum-mums, chasing Banjo and Kazooie once they are noticed and trying to attack them. While most attacks can temporarily knock out a Limbo, the only way to permanently defeat them is by using the Wonderwing move.
Name origin[edit]
Their name is likely derived from Limbo, the viewpoint concerning the afterlife condition of those who die in original sin without being assigned to the Hell of the Damned in Catholic theology.
