Mutie-Snippets, self-referred to as Snippet Mutants, are a mutated species of Snippets that appear in Clanker's Cavern from Banjo-Kazooie. They have a light green body, a yellow underbelly, and brown eyes. Their left eye and right claw are larger than their right eye and left claw respectively. Mutie-Snippets have a green glow around their body.
A trio of Mutie-Snippets are located in a chamber behind Clanker, containing a large drum of toxic waste with several holes in the sides, with light pouring from each. They serve as the boss of the level and defeating all of them rewards Banjo and Kazooie with a Jiggy. Despite their differences in appearance, they are not much different in strength or abilities from the normal Snippets.

- Even after the Mutie-Snippets are defeated, the location surrounding the barrel continues having the frantic-sounding boss music, and continues to do so whenever the chamber is revisited.
