The hold is an area within the Rusty Bucket of Rusty Bucket Bay in Banjo-Kazooie. Inside, resides Boss Boom Box who is surrounded by various Blue Eggs which Banjo and Kazooie can collect and use against him. To enter, the duo needs to use a crane to drop a TNT box on the hold's entrance, destroying it and allowing them go get inside.
