Boggy's Gym is an outlet located near the Docks of Showdown Town, being owned by Boggy. It was bought from Mr. Fit after Mrs. Boggy kicked her husband out of home and forced him to get a job so he "earn [his] keep."
Banjo and Kazooie can pay Boggy Musical Notes to upgrade their speed, strength and stamina three times each, allowing them to run faster, deal more damage to enemies and also carry heavier vehicles without slowing down, and be able to take more damage or stay underwater for more time before being knocked out, respectively. Boggy does not allow the duo to upgrade any ability a fourth time, as he claims he can't teach them any more speed upgrades, they'll "look freakish" and that they "might explode," for each respective attribute.
