Trapdoor Towers are a series of locations in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.
Features and overview
Trapdoor Tower are buildings appearing throughout Showdown Town. Each one contains a Mumbo Crate inside, and they all need a combination, bought from characters like Bottles, Mr. Fit and Captain Blubber, to be entered on a Wrench-it Bolt for them to open. If the Showdown Town Police is nearby when a Trapdoor Tower is opened, they will start chasing Banjo and Kazooie.
Trivia
- According to Steve Mayles, the Trapdoor Towers were based on an old water tower next to the M40 motorway near Oxford.[1]
