'''Weird West''' is a scrapped world from ''[[Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts]]''. A variety of speculation and scattered developer hints suggests it would have been a western-styled world with a twist, such as polystyrene buildings.

Weird West appears to be quite a late cut. There are several remnants and references left to it throughout the game:
==White Jinjo==
*The seaside is the only section of [[Showdown Town]] without a world entrance. Instead, it has several boarded-up buildings discussed by local NPCs as being remnants, mentioning the docks used to be "twice as long" and "See all these boarded-up buildings? They used to have doors that led to the Weird West Game World. Legend tells of it being a wondrous place, but alas, it no longer exists."
A white Jinjo was originally going to appear in ''Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts''. It's icon can be found among many others featured in a wallpaper released to advertise the game, while in the final game it is only used in the pause menu.
*[[L.O.G.]] has a comment relating to a similarly-named area: "You should be grateful, I could've sent you to Hoedown Town. It's awful. The music, the dancing! Oh my!"
<gallery>
*The music played during L.O.G.'s Lost Challenges is very western-styled, and could be related to the cut world's music.

*There are 131 [[Jiggy|Jiggies]] in the game. Adding one more world of a reasonable number of challenges would bring this number to a more even 150. In addition, there is an extra T. T. Trophy that would also be evened out.

This is a list of pre-release and unused content from Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

Weird West[edit]

“See all those boarded-up buildings? They used to have doors that led to the Weird West Game World. Legends tell of it being a wondrous place, but alas, it no longer exists.”
Supporting cast, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts

Weird West was a scrapped Western-styled Game World planned to appear in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Although there are some leftovers it in the game's internal files, such as its icon, a cowboy hat, and code for Jinjo Challenges, many remnants of the Game World can still be found in the game itself such as the fact that the Jiggosseum is the only Game World with two Grunty Acts, with "9-Ball Nightmare" possibly being the one planned to be featured in Weird West, the Inflatable Sheep of Banjoland which are featured in two challenges where they escape the 'Cut for Deadlines' Room, indicating they were once part of Weird West and the supporting cast of Showdown Town sometimes talking about Weird West, among other things.

White Jinjo[edit]

A white Jinjo was originally going to appear in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. It's icon can be found among many others featured in a wallpaper released to advertise the game, while in the final game it is only used in the pause menu.

Remote Controller Vehicle Part[edit]

A model, texture and icon can be found for the Remote Controller vehicle part, however, there is no in-game functionality.

Green Minjos[edit]

Minjos were originally green instead of blue. This seems to have been changed fairly late in development as their in-game icon still uses the old coloration.

Speedometer[edit]

Originally the speedometer was its own gauge on the user interface rather than wrapped around the mini-map.

Klungo's Arcade Bridge Expansion[edit]

Before Weird West was scrapped, the bridge to Klungo's Arcade was longer featuring a structure somewhat resembling Klungo's head.

High Grip Tires[edit]

High Grip tires originally featured spikes on the wheels.

Boggy's Children[edit]

Boggy's children, Soggy, Groggy and Moggy, were originally going to play a role in the scrapped Banjoland challenge "Don't Bring Your Kids To Work Day." Moggy and Soggy were actually leftover in the game and can be found during the challenge "Home Improvement Igloo Edition."[1] Moggy can be found on top of an empty display case in the Mumbo's Mountain exhibit and Soggy can be found in between Clanker's eyes.[2]

Nintendo 64[edit]

In pre-release screenshots of Banjoland, a Nintendo 64 can be seen in the place of Old King Coal's statue.[3] This was likely changed due to legal reasons.

Early Wrench-it Bolts[edit]

Pre-release screenshots of the Wrench-it Bolts showed that they appeared closer to Mumbo Jumbo's appearance and color.
